General Eletric + Alstom: branded content
When GE (General Electric) purchased power units from Alstom, it decided to communicate the movement by creating innovative branded content pieces that would be published on the website of Editora Globo's Época Negócios magazine. This action was part of a larger advertising project called "Caminhos para o futuro"
The challenge here was to create an engaging lay storytelling on a very technical subject involving details of industrial operations.
To this end we developed a great responsive HTML5 multimedia narrative, which included reporting, graphs (which visually summarized the changes in GE business), bullets from GE's top executive quotes, and a poetic animation that told the childhood of Elihu Thomson, one of the founders of General Electric, who was also involved in Alstom's past.
