Glück Media is a multimedia content company founded by writers and journalists Karin Hueck and Fred Di Giacomo, pioneers in the production of digital infographics and games with content in Brazil. Both have more than 14 years of experience in the largest media companies in Brazil, and have created content for various brands such as Google, GE (General Electric), Sabine Hueck - Atelier Culinário (Berlin), Rede Globo (largest commercial TV network in Latin America) Ideal Agency H + K, Lemann Foundation, Editora Abril (major Brazilian publisher and printing company), Mesa, Elemidia, Énois, TEDx, among others.
Who we are?
Fred Di Giacomo is an internationally awarded journalist and multimedia writer with experience in digital team management. He uses platforms such as magazines, games, infographics, videos, and books to create innovative narratives. Fred worked for eight years in Editora Abril (largest magazine publisher in Brazil) where he managed a digital team responsible for sites and mobile actions of brands aimed at young people. In August of 2013, Fred resigned to live a year in Berlin, to travel and to undertake in his own site Glück Project - an investigation on the happiness. He has developed multimedia content and branded content for companies such as Rede Globo, GE and Google. The journalist is the author of 7 books and has been invited to give lectures on multimedia storytelling and journalism in places such as Campus Party, Social Media Week and several international universities.
Karin Hueck is a journalist and writer. She holds a scholarship from the Humboldt Stiftung in Berlin and has been editor of the magazine Superinteressante for 8 years, where she did reports, infographics and more. For his works with infographics she collects national and international awards, such as SND, SPD and Abril Prize. She was the author of the research "Chega de Fiu-fiu", against street harassment, and co-founder of the Glück Project - an investigation into happiness. In August 2013 she moved to Berlin to write her first book "O lado sombrio dos contos de fada", which sold out in 3 months and is already in the second edition with a bestseller label.
